As you know, I’ve been a WordPress freelancer for 10+ now, and I’ve always had clients and cool projects along this time but in my professional journey, I always want to face different types of projects and challenges.
I’ve never been part of the freelancers’ marketplaces/directories due to the lack of professionalism and how the prices are ridiculously low, it simply doesn’t match with me.
However, there are a couple of platforms that are really worth it, one of them is Codeable, Codeable – the #1 WordPress outsourcing platform out there, and I liked the promise they offer to the clients and to the developers.
What is Codeable?
Codeable is a unique WordPress freelancer platform because it only allows the top 2% of WordPress developers to sign up a become experts, yeah only 2%. This means that when you, as a client, post a project on Codeable, you can be confident that you will be working with the people that are the best and have the right knowledge.
The significant differences between Codeable and the other freelancers’ sites are two:
The impostor syndrome
Before I applied, I always had the same question, Am I good enough to pass the process? Should I even try?
Despite these doubts, I took my chances and apply, the worst that could happen is to be rejected right? and that happens I’ll keep the secret 😄.
I filled out the first questionnaire around early May and by the 12th, I officially start the vetting process I’m not going to describe the process and the tasks but you can read more about it on Codeable’s site.
Today, after almost a month I was accepted as a Codeable Expert 🎉🎉🎉.
What happens with my other clients?
This is just the beginning and I’ll keep working with my loyal clients as always, the only difference is that all my new clients or projects will be handled via Codeable.
Now I need to follow with my 45 days trial period to get familiar with the platform and start rocking.
In the meantime, if you need help, you can schedule a call with me, or you can drop me a line.
